About
TowerDesk started because we were tired of five-star reviews that clearly came from people who never finished the tutorial. We wanted a place where someone actually plays a game for hours before telling you whether your evening is safe in its hands.,The team is tiny on purpose. We split new releases between us, play them on real mid-range phones instead of flagship monsters, and only write once we've hit the point where a game either opens up or falls apart. Tower defence and strategy are our home turf, but we cover anything that asks you to think a little.,Games get picked a few ways: reader suggestions, things trending on the stores, and the occasional oddball a friend sends us at midnight. We don't take payment to cover a title, and we don't promise a positive write-up to anyone.,If a game is grindy, pay-walled or just dull after two hours, we say so. If it surprises us, we say that louder.
